Developed and 3-D Printed by Mike Gay, his own personal creation that places the Yokomo YZ-2 front wing in "clean air" on the front of the car with a rigid mount.
Coach Wenger's Pro-Tip: The wing mounted lower in front of the tower tends to give the benefit of the front wing, but is less aggressive and easier to drive than the wing mounted up and behind the tower. In short, for more steering run the wing high, for smoother steering run it down low.
The front wing is not new to R/C and has been tried on several generations of cars dating back to the 80s and 90s. The front wing tends to smooth out the steering feel, and keeps the front end down middle to exit in turns. It is especially helpful when jumping directly into a turn.
